History
Owner, Matthew J. Ward, began his real estate career in 1990 when he built and sold homes. He eventually started doing home mortgages along with buying and selling homes. When Matt founded Serendipity Realty & Financial, Inc. in 1999, he developed a unique way of selling large income producing properties via group showings. His success has earned his company over $21 million in sales in 2002, over $32 million in sales in 2003 and is estimated to bypass those earnings in 2004.
An Essay about "Serendipity"
These are the moments I live for, exciting, unforeseen events for which I am unprepared, my heart naked as a baby new to the world. Surprise is always welcome. It can catch us off guard, and blindside us. Some of us strive to live orderly lives, without the upset and chaos that can accompany surprise. But I believe that surprise cannot be avoided and that without it, without serendipity, our lives become stagnant, like a dammed pond. Stagnation can kill every bit of life within a being.
We never know what to expect, living here. It's a good life, full of surprises, mostly small, but surprises all the same. If we take time to notice them, the ordinary can have the restorative power of medicine.
